St. Mark's is seeking a part-time hourly Children's Minister at a nominal rate of $18/hr. The Children's Minster does not need to have prior experience in the field; however, they must feel a calling to work with and minister to children. Additionally, they need to be comfortable in a teaching role. As such, they must be firm in their faith and their conviction in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    • Sunday: The Children's Minister would lead a Children's Chapel (similar to Sunday School) during the Sermon each week for 3-8y/o. Additionally, the Children's Minister would assist with childcare during Adult Sunday School.

      • The Children's Ministry currently uses "The Complete Children's Liturgy Book" by Katie Thompson to structure the Children's Chapel, but our hope is for a new Children's Minister to implement the God's Big Story curriculum.

    • Wednesday: The Children's Minister would assist with (to include receiving training in) the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Ministry, ultimately with the intention to become the director of the Wednesday night Catechesis.
